What time will a game unlock for me?

Why do games unlock at different times in different regions?

Publishers use two patterns. Consoles often unlock at midnight local time, rolling around the globe (New Zealand first). PC storefronts like Steam usually flip one global switch — a single UTC moment that lands at a different clock time in every region.

What's the difference between console and PC unlock times?

They frequently differ for the same game. Black Flag Resynced, for example: consoles unlock at midnight local time on July 9, while PC unlocks simultaneously worldwide at 14:00 UTC. Each game page lists the per-platform details we have.

What does TBA mean on a countdown?

The publisher has confirmed a date but not the exact unlock hour (or only a release window like “Fall 2026”). We count down to the most reliable public information and update the page the moment official times drop.
